New York Road Trip: Day 5
Carnegie Deli, Central Park, The Jersey Boys musical, Rockefeller Center, St. Patrick's Cathedral, Pizza at Angelo's

We had another adventure packed day today. We bused into the city by 11:30 AM and went straight to the Carnegie Deli for a sumptuous, deli lunch of corned beef and pastrami. Follow lunch, we hoofed around the famous Central Park for an hour and a half where we enjoyed the weather and sites like Bethesda Fountain and Strawberry Fields, the tribute, quiet area developed for John Lennon's memory. After our stroll in the park we took the subway back down to Broadway and saw the Jersey Boys musical that was all about the rise of The Four Seasons quartet from the 1960's. The matinee let out at 4:30 PM and we walked over to Rockefeller Center and took in this famous landmark along with nearby St. Patrick's cathedral. We finished out day with a drive up to Maywood and enjoyed a pizza dinner in one of Phil's favorite old haunts. According to Chris' pedometer, we walked another 5 miles today....
