This year (as in many of the past 20 or so), we broke the Yom Kippur fast at the home of
Elaine and Bob Sandy. There was quite a crowd present with the Sandy's son, Steven along with
Sarah Marder and her beau, Thomas. Jeff & Sally Seidenstein were there along with their
daughter Amy. Amy brought up a couple of friends from college (Indiana Univ). Plus,
Sally's mother (Florence) and brother Len (wife Randi) and their twin little girs. Let me not
forget the newcommers from Chicago, the Sachs'. We had the typical, wonderful Jewish
soul food of herring, other smoked fish, lox, bagels, Sally's noodle kugel, and Patty's stewed
vegetable dish, ratatouille. Special this year was the celebration of Elaine's birthday. A good
time was had by all !!
