Phil & Patty visit Niskayuna

Over this past weekend of July 27-29th, we visited Cliff, Allison, Ethan, and Gracie Rohde in Niskayuna (near Albany) NY. We had a great time. We went swimming, took a walk along the Hudson, and attended a horse race at the famous Saratoga Race Course. Sarah & Thomas announce their engagement

Our daughter Sarah gave us some great news this weekend (July 28th): She is officially engaged to marry Thomas Spurlock. The tentative date for their wedding will be sometime during the autumn of 2008. Patty and I are extremely happy for them. Look for more news about this later on.

Phil in the Bay Area (July 15-22)

Phil was in the SF Bay area from July 17th to the 23rd on an instrument training. During his trip, he met up with his cousin Camille for dinner in San Jose and for a couple of days with his friend, Scott Simon in Davis, California.
